Tides in the northern coast of Oman Sea are strategically of great importance because of vessels' traffic and environmental activities. Software has been designed in this research to calculate the range and the phase angle of 23 tidal components by the least square method analysis in Jask & Chabahar areas through the time period of 2005 to 2008 drawing upon one month's data concerning recorded tidal levels. The per-month tidal number can be calculated by this software for Jask and Chabahar. As a result the type of tides in the whole region could be recognized. Moreover, the software ArcGIS has the capacity to draw co-amplitude and co-tidal lines for Northern Oman Sea tiding. So that height changes might be computed in these areas. It is to be reminded that for the purpose of result validation, the data provided by the National Cartographic Organization are made use of. The results indicate that M2, S2, K1, O1 component ranges (for Jask) are, respectively 66, 31, 40 and 20cm; those of Chabahar being, respectively, 63, 27, 41, and 20cm. In view of the fact that the numerical value of the tide ranges from 0.25 to 1. 5, the type of tides in these regions comes, overall, out to be semi-diurnal. Bringing into consideration the differences between Max/Min water levels in Jask and Chabahar their, water level differences in Jask are realized to be more than those of Chabahar.
